JRA B’nai Mitzvah Project

Jewish Relief Agency’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah Program is the perfect way to get credit for your mitzvah project, hang out with friends, have fun, and do something really important and helpful for families in your area. Monthly food boxes are delivered directly to the door of our recipients, making sure their pantry is never empty. Volunteers pack and deliver food at two JRA monthly food distributions. JRA’s work is fueled by our volunteers who pack and deliver food and provide aid and comfort in a variety of ways. You’ll even get a cool JRA t-shirt and certificate!

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Pack and deliver food at two JRA monthly food distributions OR

Volunteer 5 hours of your time helping JRA (start a canned tuna drive, make a fundraiser with friends, etc.)

  1. Invite friends and family to join you in packing and delivering food at a third food distribution, where you’ll receive your cool JRA t-shirt and certificate for completing your project.
